Joking Hazard 1.6

This project began with a candid observation encountered online, suggesting that creating stick figure comics is an exceedingly simple endeavor and that our efforts were unappealing and lacking in intelligence.

While the comment was certainly harsh, it prompted us to develop the Random Comic Generator in 2014, a tool that has since generated entertainment for millions through its automated humor sketches.

After several weeks of experimenting with the generator's extensive collection of randomly generated panels, we contemplated their potential as the foundation for a card game. The concept involved players competing to assemble a three-panel comic strip, culminating in a humorous punchline.

Our initial prototype involved printing all the generator's panels and engaging in gameplay where players draw seven cards each. The game begins with the deck presenting the first panel, followed by designating a Judge to select the second panel. Subsequently, all players choose a third panel to complete the strip. The Judge then determines which combination creates the most amusing comic.
